COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Extends to People Age 16 and older

Dear Pharmacists,

As of April 5th, The Alabama Department of Public Health extended those eligible to receive the vaccine. People aged 16 years and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Of the 3 vaccines available, only the Pfizer vaccine is approved for people 16 years of age and older.
