We would like to remind you that the Medicare Advantage (MA) Open Enrollment Period began on January 1 and will run through March 31. Please inform your Medicare patients who may be unsatisfied with their current MA plans that they can utilize this opportunity to switch to a different MA plan with or without prescription drug coverage, or drop an MA plan and return to Original Medicare (Parts A and B). Beneficiaries can enroll in a prescription drug plan if they revert to Original Medicare. However, note that beneficiaries with Original Medicare cannot switch to an MA plan.
