The open enrollment season is now upon us! Don’t forget to remind patients that now is the best time to reassess their health care needs and select a plan that best suits them. Additionally, scams and fraudulent activity spike during the open enrollment period. If patients are in doubt about the legitimacy of an interaction, they should exit the situation and speak with the pharmacist or call SHIP (State Health Insurance Program) at 1-800-AGE-LINE for assistance.
